Brett is an award-winning architect with over 25 years of professional practice. He has achieved project success through design rigor, effective communication, attention to budget and schedule, and a focus on the details of the building program and construction.

Brett had the opportunity during the early stages of his career to work in firms of varying structures (starchitect, boutique, corporate, specialty) and across a spectrum of project types (residential, hospitality, multifamily, commercial). From the lessons learned from these experiences, Miller DesignWorks emerged as a client-driven firm focused on efficiently delivering a high level of professional services.

After 25 years, Brett has continued on this path, but with an added mission to promote community building. Alongside brick and mortar structures, Brett aspires that the relationships of all individuals working on a project model what we hope for in a community: having a voice and being heard, showing and receiving respect, and acting with compassion.
