COMMUNITY

Since its inception in 2001, the support of Denver’s nonprofit community has been a cornerstone of Miller DesignWorks’ architectural practice. Miller DesignWorks partners with nonprofits, offering pro bono feasibility studies and concept drawings to guide decision-making, set priorities, navigate approval processes, and prepare fundraising materials to create spaces where they can deliver vital services to the community. The following organizations have been supported in this fashion:
Wonderbound
Jewish Family Services
The Spot / Urban Peak
Goodwill Industries
The Bridge Project
Centro Humanitario
Hillel at U.C.
Beth Jacob High School
B’nai Havurah
Bromwell Elementary
Miller DesignWorks led the design effort to create the administrative offices of the following nonprofit providers:
Hope Communities
The adaptive reuse of a landmark building in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood into an office and community center for this regional affordable housing provider.
Colorado Collaborative
Process consultant and architect for the development of a multi-tenant center for capacity building nonprofits: Community Shares of Colorado, Colorado Nonprofit Association, Colorado Nonprofit Development Center, Community Resource Center, and Metro Volunteers.
